United Way of Pennsylvania is continuing our statewide 2-1-1 endorsement campaign. To date, we have over 150 organizations represented. PAIR is asking that you join this effort.

Similar to the recent national effort, the purpose of the PA 2-1-1 endorsement campaign is to show the General Assembly, the Governor’s Administration, corporations, foundations, local governments, and other interested parties the broad support enjoyed by 2-1-1 in Pennsylvania. 

PLEASE ask your partners to endorse the 2-1-1 statement below:

1)     Please lend your organization's name to the following statement:

"We, the undersigned, believe that every Pennsylvanian needs access to community, volunteer, health and human service information and referral for everyday needs and in times of crisis preparedness and response.  We, therefore, endorse statewide coverage and implementation of the three-digit telephone number 2-1-1 for information and referral.  We endorse 2-1-1 as a public/private partnership, and call for federal, state, local, non-profit, foundation and business investment to bring 2-1-1 to every community in the Commonwealth."
